I rebuild legacy stacks into modern systems

I am a full stack coder who specializes in backend systems. I can turn an existing design or concept into working code, but a visual design from scratch is not my type of creativity.
My professional coding experience has been with private companies, and that means my code is rarely visible to the general public. By creating this site I serve two purposes: I have an example of my capabilities that is built from scratch, with a sleek, minimal, and properly accessible UI; and I now have an outlet for my future thoughts.
Outside of my professional experience I enjoy designing and running my own homelab. Writing deployable code is only one part of the software development life cycle, and it is easy to write subpar code when you have only ever seen your own subset of the process. A homelab is a whole system I architect myself, and running it gives me networking skills, live debugging experience, and cheaper services that keep my data under my own control.
If you are a recruiter or hiring manager, feel free to check out my resume page. Otherwise, keep an eye out for a future article section where I will express my thoughts in greater depth.
